My Fairy Godmother is my senior fashion collection inspired by the fantasy and elegance of princess fairytales and Karl Lagerfeld's iconic use of pearls in the 1980s. The collection consists of three designs constructed from polyester satin, hand-beaded pearl draping, and finished with invisible zippers and hooks and eyes.
Aurora - Look one introduces the core concept of the collection, My Fairy Godmother. Drawing from the rich pink of Sleeping Beauty, this two-piece design features a strapless bustier, double-layered skirt, and a hand-beaded chest piece that echoes the bustier design lines, merging classic princess imagery with modern structure. The slits are finished with a hand-sewn invisible hem, the bodice is fully lined, and the bodice and skirt are secured with invisible zippers at the side seams.
Ariel - Look two is a vibrant twist on the traditional princess gown, inspired by Tinkerbell's bright green. This floor-length gown features leg slits, a cutout on the torso, and backless bodice, unified by hand-beaded draped strings on the torso and across the back, for a modern and elevated effect. The slits are finished with a hand-sewn invisible hem, the bodice is fully lined, and the skirt is secured with an invisible zipper at the hip.
Cinderella - Look three is a three-piece set inspired by the soft blue of Cinderella. This design features a princess seam bodice, pants with a skirt overlay, flowing drop sleeves, accented with hand-beaded draped strings along the skirt hem and around the sleeves. The soft, layered silhouette, the delicate beadwork, and the dramatic sleeves, create a playful, unexpected take on traditional fairytale silhouettes. The bodice is finished with facing, the sleeves a rolled hem, and the pant slits with a hand-sewn invisible hem.
